Captain America is one of the pinnacle of the Marvel superhero community. What it lacks in raw power, it makes up for in strength and finesse. He’s an amazing leader and tactician and has proven to be one of the toughest heroes. He’s seen and done it all, including sometimes having to fight against his fellow heroes.
Cap can beat many Marvel heroes because he knows them so well, but DC heroes would be a different story. However, even without knowing them too well, he would still be able to take down some of the toughest heroes.
ten Damian Wayne’s arrogance would cost him against Cap
Damian Wayne can be unbearably arrogant, but he has a good reason for it. Damian can back up his mouth and has taught many opponents painful lessons. His arrogance can also be his weakness and Cap is exactly the kind of person to take advantage of that. Cap would immediately respect the young man’s skill and then take care of dismantling him.
Damian certainly beat Cap in the pure skill department, but Cap wins because he knows how to fight someone like Damian. He will play on Damian’s arrogance, make him make mistakes, and that will allow him to win.
9 The cap would foil Starfire
Starfire was one of the Teen Titans’ greatest weapons in battle. She had the strength and skill, and her starbursts and mobility make her a powerful presence on the battlefield. She beat Cap in almost every category, but that’s not going to win the fight for her. Cap has a long history of defeating enemies that are better than him in some way.
Cap wins because he is smarter than his enemies. He knows when to defend and when to attack. Starfire’s powerful attacks and flight are going to make things difficult for him, but he’ll do what he always does: find a way to win.
8 Cap’s skills easily eclipse those of Batwoman
Batwoman is one of Gotham’s toughest vigilantes. She quickly made a name for herself in the city and rose to the highest echelons of the Bat-Family. Her military background combined with everything she’s learned since becoming Batwoman makes her formidable, but that’s not going to help against Cap. The physical benefit is negligible and something she could overcome; the skill advantage is not.
Cap’s skills and experience give him a huge advantage in this battle. It would still be a close fight as Batwoman is amazing but she just doesn’t have what it takes to defeat Cap in a fight.
seven Tim Drake has no chance against Cap
Tim Drake is easily one of the best Robins. Although he’s not the best fighter, his detective skills are the best and he knows how to take whatever he can do and make it work. It’s one thing he and Cap have in common; Tim knows how to use everything he has to his advantage and is an incredible tactician. Unfortunately, Cap’s skill and strength will outweigh him.
Tim is very good, and Cap would recognize him right away, but he wouldn’t take him easily. Cap would easily win the fight and then have some pretty encouraging words for Tim. The young hero would certainly earn his respect.
6 Most of Cyborg’s boons wouldn’t really affect the cap
Cyborg has changed a lot over the years. It’s still one of the most efficient tanks in DC history, but its power to control technology is what makes it even more dangerous. This power is not going to help him at all against Cap. The Sentinel of Liberty is about as low-tech as it gets, so at this point it’s just a super strong hero against Cap.
Cyborg is very good but Cap is better. He’s truly nothing Cap hasn’t faced before and although his experience makes him a tough foe, Cap could pull off the win.
5 Beast Boy’s offensive variety wouldn’t save him from Cap’s onslaught
Beast Boy has been a hero for a long time. Although he may seem a little immature, he has more than proven himself capable of handling almost anything that comes his way. His ability to transform into any animal can be quite a powerful power and has made him a force to be reckoned with. It’s such a versatile ability, but it won’t save him from Cap.
Beast Boy has all sorts of options in a fight, but he’s also pretty easy to take down, and Cap will realize that quickly. Cap will quickly take control of the fight, dictating the terms of the battle and making Beast Boy react. This will allow him to get the victory.
4 Red Hood’s wrath would be his greatest weakness against Cap
Red Hood has changed a lot since he returned from the dead. He became a much stronger fighter, but his anger issues did not improve. This will cost him against Cap. While Red Hood has the ability to challenge Cap, his anger is a huge liability in a fight against someone like Captain America.
Cap keeps a cool head no matter what and knows how to exploit angry enemies. Red Hood’s buttons are just too easy to press and Cap will take advantage of that. It would still be a good fight, but by the time Red Hood realizes how expertly he was played, it will be far too late.
3 Booster Gold is a great hero but Cap has his number
Booster Gold can be quite boring, but there’s no denying how good it is. He has saved all the time and space many times and his technological powers make him a formidable foe. Although Booster beat Cap in many ways, Cap’s cool head under fire and facing much tougher tech-based enemies will allow him to beat Booster.
Booster doesn’t take things seriously, and that’s going to be a disadvantage against Cap. Cap is going to be so far ahead of the flippant future hero that Booster will find himself reacting to Cap. With Cap controlling the fight, Booster has no hope.
2 Green Arrow’s cunning arrow won’t be enough against Cap
Green Arrow is an amazing archer and melee fighter. His cunning arsenal of arrows and combat skills have made him a Justice League caliber hero and his tenacity is undeniable. However, Cap has been fighting side-by-side with an extremely skilled archer for years, so he knows just about everything he needs to know about Green Arrow.
Cap beat Green Arrow but Ollie will still fight well. He’s a savvy opponent and always has a few tricks up his sleeve. He’ll give Cap his money’s worth, but it won’t be enough to win the fight.
1 The cap would eliminate Batman
Batman fights some of the most dangerous villains of all time and has been known to win in unlikely situations. On paper, a fight with Cap wouldn’t challenge Batman too much. It would be a direct fistfight, the type of matchup that Batman has repeatedly won. Batman and Cap are pretty equal but in the end Cap might triumph.
It would be an amazing fight, but Cap’s more defensive style and mastery of his shield will win it for him. Sure, Batman has an incredible arsenal, but the simplicity and usefulness of the shield, and Cap’s skill in using it, is going to make a huge difference. This will allow Cap to break the stalemate the two would find themselves in and win the battle.
