An incredible concept trailer teases Anthony Mackie as Captain America, giving us an idea of what Captain America 4 could look like.
Sam Wilson is set to continue Captain America’s legacy in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. After Steve Rogers hands the shield over to his friend at the end of Avengers: Endgameit was clear that the inheritance was in good hands.
Disney+ Series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier took this further, exploring how Sam felt about wielding the shield before eventually following in his longtime friend’s footsteps and becoming the second Captain America.
Mackie will reprise the role in an upcoming fourth Captain America movie, a huge announcement that came the same day as The Falcon and the Winter Soldier concluded. When it will be released remains to be seen, but fans are excited for the chance to see beloved Sam Wilson get the starring role he deserves.
Mackie dressing up as Cap has spawned some epic fan art and videos of him in costume, and with the movie on the horizon, let’s shine a light on one of those incredible videos.
Captain America 4 Fan Trailer Imagines Anthony Mackie’s Solo MCU Movie
YouTube user Stryder HD is all too familiar with great fan videos, having created some amazing fan trailers in the past, as well as videos that imagine various actors in roles they don’t have. not played (thanks to the use of Deepfake technology).
This particular video imagines Sam Wilson’s first solo outing with the shield, illustrating what Captain America 4 might look like. Giving the film the fan title of “Captain America: Serpent Society,” this trailer examines what could happen if the film picks up after the events of The Falcon and the Winter Soldierusing images from the series.
Of course we don’t know what Captain America 4 will be about yet as there has been very little information released about it. Needless to say, though, this fan trailer is expertly put together and certainly looks like a Marvel trailer. Hoping the real one (every time it comes out) is just as epic!
