New team, new drama.
Captain sand yawn and sailor Mzi “Zee” Dempers will be the only familiar faces board this year Under the Mediterranean Bridge ship when season seven of the Bravo series premieres Monday, July 11. Rest assured, everyone is very entertaining, from the chief stew Natasha to the cook David (who, based on the trailermay or may not end up in a romantic entanglement!).
As Captain Sandy told E! News, “I’m thrilled for the fans to see how fun the crew is. Yes, of course we have issues like every other boat – I’ll take care of them and they have their drama – but in overall, they’re hilarious.”
Mzi echoed that sentiment, calling the crew a “really good group of people.”
This is Under the Med Bridge we’re talking about, though. Past seasons have featured dramatic shotscustomer relationships that went against yacht code and more fights than you can count.

Does that mean fans can expect a little drama? According to Mzi, yes.
“Generally, our season had a lot of different personalities, and in that regard, people are always going to clash,” he told E! News, adding that he himself disagreed with others “more so this season than last season.”
Overall, season seven has “a lot of ups and downs,” Mzi said. He was tight-lipped on the details, but he teased a “traumatic” incident with the boat itself, adding: “It was something very, very unexpected”.
Captain Sandy also gave an ominous response, simply telling viewers to “stay tuned” to see if any big scares occur.
On the other hand, one thing that fans should count on an appearance from Mzi’s famous alter ego, Maverick. “I feel like Brother Mav, he’s still inside me,” the deckhand joked. “He’s still here, he’s just waiting for his time to shine.”
Under the Mediterranean Bridge premieres Mondays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo. New episodes will be released a week earlier on Mondays on Peacock.
