The spectators of 4e Annual Labor Day Takeoff at Memorial Park during Labor Day weekend are invited to take and submit their best photos of the event for the Labor Day Photo Contest. You have three days – September 3-5 – to take photos. In the morning, the hot air balloons take off at 7 a.m. In the evening on weekend days, evening ballIouunes glimmers can be captured at 7:30 p.m. In all, 70 balloons will float and become one with the landscape of Colorado Springs!
This free family event is one of the most colorful events in town. Photo contest aside, be sure to join the hot air balloon experience on Saturday or Sundayfrom 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., to take a selfie. The cost for this memorable and engaging meeting is $4 per person. Take part in the contest until Sunday, September 11 on gazette.com/Labor Day.
