John Randazzo, 58, died on January 11, 2022 after battling cancer. Born in Hackensack, John
raised his 4 sons in Paramus, NJ and Toms River NJ. Besides his own sons, John was a father figure to
countless of their friends. Although he had a very successful building business, in John his biggest
success in life was to be a father and a role model for his boys. When his youngest son, Nicolas,
who died tragically in 1998, he did not let the loss break the bond he had with his other sons but did
the strongest.
John was the definition of an artist. From making people laugh at his antics to getting a set
room to sing as he effortlessly played songs by Billy Joel and Elton John on his little grand piano. He
liked to entertain. If you went to an event at his house, you were sure to leave with a full stomach.
and a night full of fun.
One of John’s greatest passions was boating. He was a master captain and he spent as much time as he
could on the water, including a few years when he lived on his boat. It was on the water that he felt
most at peace. When he couldn’t be on his boat, he sat on his back deck with a cup of
coffee and a cigarette looking into the water and thinking.
John spent the last years of his life in Myrtle Beach SC. and spent his last weeks in New Jersey so he
could be close to his sons.
He is survived by his son John and his daughter-in-law, Melissa, his son Michael and his daughter-in-law
Gina, her son Anthony and his fiancée Ashley and was predeceased by his son, Nicholas. He also leaves
behind his beloved grandchildren, Gianna, John, Nicholas and Emma. John will be greatly missed
by the many members of his family, including his mother, Anna Jean “Honey” Randazzo, his siblings Jeannette,
Michael, Patricia and Philip and their families. He was predeceased by his father, Michael.
There will be a memorial service celebrating his life on Saturday, January 22, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at
