From one Cape to another.

There’s no denying that Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe ushers in a whole new era for the billion-dollar franchise, years after the culmination of the Infinity Saga. With Tony Stark and Steve Rogers no longer leading Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, it’s time for a new generation of heroes to come together and protect the entire universe.

Despite the absence of Iron Man and Captain America, the superhero team they left behind seems to be in good hands and it’s already safe to assume that Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel and Sam Wilson, the new Captain America, are the first to lead the pack.

During the Infinity Saga, we never saw any interaction between Sam and Carol, but the Avengers: Quantum Encounter The Disney Wish fan event gives fans their first real taste of what a Captain America and Captain Marvel team-up would look like.

Footage of said event has made its rounds on social media featuring an epic team-up between Ant-Man, Wasp, Captain America, and Captain Marvel. After decimating an army of Ultron robots, Danvers tells Sam that she has other business to attend to on another planet, but not before recognizing Wilson as “Cap”. Check out the images here:

It looks like we’ll be seeing more team-up moments from the “captains” of the Avengers and judging from their first official meeting, Danvers seems to be getting along pretty well with his fellow heroes.

Meanwhile, Wonders is currently slated for release on July 28, 2023.
