The MCU and DCEU actors are more than just colleagues. Over the years, they have become close friends. Some of them even treat each other like family. But when it comes to a truly family-friendly franchise, there’s only one: Fast and Furious. If anyone knows what it means to love and do things for a (found) family, it’s Dom and his comrades. As they bend the laws of space, physics and common sense, the crew never forgets to cap off their adventures with a family dinner. And now there will be another new but familiar face in the family. Captain Marvel herself, aka Brie Larson, will join Jason Momoa, who we know as Aquamanin Fast and Furious 10. (Maybe they’ll come up with a different title?)
It totally makes sense. Our intrepid car enthusiasts have already launched a car into space. Captain Marvel can literally fly anywhere in space. In fact, the tenth Fast and Furious The film is expected to spend the majority of its time in space with Brie Larson wearing a colorful costume. Why not? Nothing is impossible in this universe. Vin Diesel himself broke the incredible news to us by posting a photo with Larson. He promises his character will be a “timeless and stunning” addition. And, of course, he ends the post by welcoming her to the family. Brie Larson also took to Instagram to confirm she’ll be starring in Fast and Furious 10.
Now we already knew Jason Momoa would be in Fast and Furious 10. Perhaps the second half of the film will take place on the high seas. Two polar opposites who are no match for Dominic Turretto. F9 proved that Dom is damn close to immortal, so why not. It’s unclear whether Brie Larson will side with family or the enemy like Jason Momoa in Fast and Furious 10.
But we love that the Fast franchise is a hot spot for MCU and DCEU actors, with Gal Gadot, Idris Elba, John Cena, Michael Rooker, and more having their turn in its films. Fast and Furious 10 will accelerate our path on May 19, 2023, and we are here for it. After years of investing in this wild saga and our undying love for our favorite comics, we might as well be.
