Managers have until 6.30pm BST to make their changes before Brentford face Brighton, who begin a fascinating weekend of Premier League action.
FPL managers may also want to pay attention to the upcoming midweek matchday, as Manchester City and Arsenal are absent due to their postponement. City face Liverpool this Sunday at Anfield in the only game between the ‘Big Six’.
Harry Kane – Tottenham – £11.4m
Minor threats of being rested from the lineup persist for Kane, but a tally of eight goals and two assists has been built in the shadow of Erling Haaland. Everton at home on Saturday makes him the best choice to lead your FPL team, if you have both. Kane has 14 goals in 15 games against the Toffees, his second best record against any opponent.
Patson Daka – Leicester – £5.7m
With three goals from his last four goals, the striker leads the Foxes line well even though the results haven’t matched his efforts. Flying under the radar, he will be a big threat at home against Crystal Palace on Saturday – a side Leicester have beaten four times and drawn twice in their last six meetings.
Andreas Pereira – Fulham – £4.6m
The absence of Aleksandar Mitrovic from the Cottagers roster has suggested goals will dry up for Marco Silva’s side, but Pereira remains a goal and assist threat, netting at West Ham last week, and is a competitive price. However, it has a strong property (nearly 25%).
Pascal Gross – Brighton – £5.9m
Many FPL teams already have one or two Brighton players after a strong start under Graham Potter and it would be foolish to dismiss them now that Roberto De Zerbi is in charge. A trip to Brentford, which has one of the worst defensive records in the league, is a good chance for attacking midfielder Gross to maintain his fine form which includes three goals, two assists and a trio of bonus points.
Diego Costa – Wolves – £5.5m
If you really want to push the differential boat, just 0.6% of managers possess Costa ahead of him, likely leading the home line at leaky Nottingham Forest. Keep on going. I dare you.
