This latest offering continues Crystal Dynamics’ constant drip feed of new cosmetics for Marvel’s Avengersand this may be particularly interesting not only for fans interested in a rather different look for Steve Rodgers, but for fans of the Planet Hulk comics.
Not to be confused with the original The Incredible Hulk screenplay of the same name which was loosely adapted in Thor: Ragnarokthe Planet Hulk The comic book series was a 2015 offshoot of Marvel’s Shattering Multiverse Secret Wars script. If nifty new cosmetics like Gladiator Captain America will be enough to keep players coming back Marvel’s Avengers in light of the game’s tough lifespan and content roadmap will likely vary from player to player. Even if that’s not the case, Steve Rodgers fans at least have a lot to look forward to in the near future thanks to Skydance’s currently untitled Marvel game starring Cap and Black Panther in WWII. In any case, Marvel fans should’ve been running out of opportunities to swing Steve’s shield anytime soon.
