We are looking for a talented and motivated Job Captain/Mid-Level Designer to join us. We are a diverse team based in the Los Angeles Arts District. Our studio has completed work across the residential, commercial, hospitality and institutional sectors, creating a portfolio that has won numerous design awards, including the 2021 AIA LA Presidential Award for Emerging Practice. Qualities, skills and qualifications required:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture or interior design
- 3-7 years of experience
- Experience in completing each phase of residential, commercial or hospitality projects
- Ability to self-manage projects through all phases of design, documentation and construction
- Coordination of consultants, product research and detailed development
- Zoning/building code knowledge and permitting experience
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Experience in Sketch-Up, Revit and AutoCAD from the start of project development to construction documents
- A team player with an ability to oversee the work of junior staff and interested in contributing to studio activities/initiatives
