‘Monaco police captain was waiting for me’: Lakers legend shares photo of ‘surprise’ visit from fan cop, just to get his signature

NBA legends of the 90s are still one of the most popular basketball players. Even though they retired in the 90s, millions of fans still recognize them, not only in the United States but all over the world. One of them is Magic Johnson, a Lakers legend who received a surprise visit while in Monaco on vacation.

Magic, on vacation for some time, made a stopover in Monaco. He toured Greece and other surrounding countries. He is still very popular here and fans would flock to catch a glimpse of him.

And when he stopped in Monaco, the police captain met him and asked him to sign a jersey and a few other items. Magic was more than happy to do so, and even took a picture with the captain. Magic said, “I had a nice surprise after my training this morning! The Monaco Police Captain was waiting for me with my jersey and other items to sign.

In the past, Magic has also been seen with Samuel L. Jackson. The duo are good friends and take vacations almost every year. There are also other friends and family members and they take a yacht to visit beautiful Mediterranean towns.

Lakers legend Magic Johnson may be on vacation but he’s still super busy

Magic, who has been retired for over 20 years now, is still a very busy man. He is a very successful businessman and has many businesses to run. A few years ago, he was named president of basketball operations for the Los Angeles Lakers. He was instrumental in lowering the Lakers salary cap and he acquired several young star talents like Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram and Kyle Kuzma.

Johnson was also instrumental in bringing LeBron James to Los Angeles. Even though they couldn’t reach the playoffs in 2019, Magic left the team due to differences. Either way, the young talent he acquired was needed to secure Anthony Davis. The Lakers won the title the year they traded for Anthony Davis.
