In a new preview for Marvel Comics’ upcoming issue of amazing spider man, Peter Parker is not allowed to return to websling until he can prove himself Captain America and Black cat. As Peter recovered in the hospital from radiation poisoning, Peter’s clone Ben Reilly took over the duties of Spider-Man (while also being a company-backed superhero hired by Beyond Corporation). However, now that Ben himself is potentially compromised, is Peter ready to take up the mantle of Spider-Man in New York?

Now the new preview of Amazing Spider-Man #87 from writer Zeb Wells and artist Carlos Gómez sees Captain America and Black Cat get Peter Parker back into shape. Unfortunately, Spider-Man’s healing process was slow, and earlier issues actually saw him fail to stop a pair of single carjackers (a failure Captain America himself witnessed). As a result, it looks like Steve Rogers and Felicia Hardy want to make sure Parker is back in full fighting shape before allowing him to put his mask back on (in a very literal sense). BEYOND CHAPTER THIRTEEN With NYC reeling from Doc Ock’s attack, Captain America and Black Cat need to know something… if Ben Reilly is really depressed, is Peter Parker able to step in and fix it? to be Spider-Man again? You may think you know where this story is going, but you don’t.
It seems Cap and the Cat are pretty serious, considering Parker has no choice but to bring back the Bombastic Bag-Man in place of his usual spider suit. However, it makes sense. Retaining the suit creates an important goal for Peter while proving his skills to someone else who can ensure he is capable and regains his full strength instead of Peter deciding on his own and coming back too early in the swing (which is exactly what he did in previous issues).
Either way, it should be exciting to see Peter retrain with Captain America and the Black cat, focusing on the fundamentals of Spider-Man so that his official return can be a great success. Also, Peter’s return should happen soon with the Beyond The era is set to end in March with a battle between Peter and everything Beyond tragically transformed Ben after manipulating his mind. While Ben can hopefully be saved, it will still be good to see Peter Parker once again become Marvel’s original Webhead as amazing spider man keep on going.
