Spoilers for Captain America: Symbol of Truth #7 by Marvel Comics

Marvel Comics teases a new version of Nomadic team up with Captain America, because the hero who takes up the torch seems to be the secret son of Steve Rogers. In the all-new cover of Captain America: Symbol of Truth #7, Ian Rogers appears to be making his long-awaited return as the new Nomad, joining Sam Wilson as his new sidekick.

Marvel has been teasing Nomad’s return since last month, as the moniker Steve Rogers initially wore after dropping the Shield makes a big comeback in the upcoming Captain America: Symbol of Truth ongoing series. While a handful of heroes have since gone by the Nomad name, one of the more interesting characters to take over was Ian Rogers, Captain America’s secret son. Steve first met Ian (who is Armin Zola’s biological son) in Dimension Z, where he was stuck for over a decade. When Steve escaped, Ian became Nomad – but has been missing for some time in the comics. Now, it looks like Rogers is returning as Captain America’s new sidekick.
