The monster hunter Elsa Blood Stonerude mouth has once again proven why she’s the anti-Captain America in Marvel Comics. Fans know Captain America doesn’t approve of foul language, which Elsa Bloodstone likes very much, and in preview for The Death of Doctor Strange: Bloodstone, Elsa reminds fans why she is the opposite of Captain America. The issue goes on sale January 12 in print and digital versions.
Elsa Bloodstone first appeared in 2001 Blood stone, created by Dan Abnett, Andy Lanning and Michael Lopez. She is the son of famous monster hunter Ulysses Bloodstone, and she also has a brother named Cullen. Trained to hunt monsters since birth, Elsa had a difficult and chaotic childhood, which has influenced her attitude in the present. Elsa has been a member of several superhero teams, including Nextwave; and also had a relationship with Deadpool. Elsa’s work also brought her in contact with Doctor Strange. Recently, the Sorcerer Supreme was assassinated, and as a result, magical threats that would never attack Earth have grown emboldened.
