Arguably the two biggest superheroes in the MCU so far have been Captain America and Iron Man.
Tony Stark’s Armored Avenger kicked off the Marvel Cinematic Universe as we know it, and it wasn’t long before Steve Rogers’ Sentinel of Liberty joined the MCU party.
Howard Stark was part of the project that helped Rogers become Captain America in the first place, and Tony spent much of his youth hearing his father’s stories of the great Captain America, creating a rivalry that existed inside Rogers’ head. Tony before he even met Steve. When working together in the Avengers, the pair often clashed; Cap’s acting as a soldier willing to do the right thing sometimes didn’t always work with Iron Man’s brash way of working.
It took a civil war between the two and a battle to save half the galaxy for the two to finally put aside their differences and work together.
