Mohamed Salah (£13.1million) delivered for the record over a million Fantasy Premier League managers who used their Triple Captain chip on the Liverpool star during Double Gameweek 26.
The Egyptian scored his 17th goal of the season in the 3-1 win over Norwich City to deliver 10 points.
That record 1,013,162 manager backer, three-time captain Salah, is now hoping he can add to that run in his second game of DGW26, at home to Leeds United on Wednesday.
It is the first time a player has been treble-captained by over a million managers and smashed the previous record of 359,246 set by Harry Kane (£12.2m) last season.
There were around 850,000 more chips deployed, with the 239,806 Bench Boosts activated a record number in a Gameweek so far this season.

Salah was also the most captained player, given the armband by more than 3 million managers.

salah | 3,043 | ten |

Fernandes | 415 | – |
Manchester United’s Cristiano Ronaldo (£12.5m) and Bruno Fernandes (£11.7m) completed the top three captains.
The Portuguese pair are in good form after producing double-digit runs in Double Gameweek 25.
Man Utd travel to Leeds on Sunday, an opponent Fernandes has fond memories of playing.
The midfielder recorded his only Premier League hat-trick against Marcelo Bielsa’s side in Gameweek 1 and averaged over 13 points per game in his three appearances against Leeds.

Fantasy’s top 100 managers overwhelmingly sided with Salah as 97 of that elite group gave him the armband.
Trent Alexander-Arnold (£8.5million) took second place but it was a disappointing start to Double Gameweek for his supporters as he was dropped from the squad to face Norwich.
Alexander-Arnold will have a second chance to earn points against Leeds.
Arsenal midfielder Bukayo Saka (£6.5million) was in third place and he scored in the 2-1 win over Brentford to equal Salah’s tally.

Salah was the No.1 transfer target with almost 1.5million adding the Egyptian to his squads.
Only Ronaldo returning in Gameweek 4 was a more popular acquisition in 2021/22 Fantasy.
Joining Salah and Saka among the most bought players was Raul Jimenez (£7.4million).
The Mexican was transferred by more than 527,000 as he also plays twice in DGW26.
His Wolves side entertain Leicester City on Sunday ahead of their trip to the Emirates Stadium on Thursday.
Like Saka for Arsenal, Jimenez has been his side’s main attacking threat with 41 shots and 27 chances created this season.

Jota | 1,502 | 0 |

Fernandes | 538 | – |
De Bruyne | 519 | 2 |
An injury to Diogo Jota (£8.4m) led to him being sent off by over 1.5m managers.
The Portuguese missed the Norwich victory and are also not expected to play against Leeds.
Fernandes was the second best-selling player before the deadline as many made a straight swap deal with Salah.
And despite scoring 66 points in his last eight matches, Kevin De Bruyne (£12.0m) was another heavyweight in the clamor to move for Salah.
Managers who did would have felt relieved as he could only remain a goalless goalkeeper in Manchester City’s dramatic loss to Tottenham Hotspur.
